The black and gold themed event, sponsored by Safewell Ltd, was a complete sell out and proved a huge success.

Held in the stunning Mallard Suite overlooking the beautiful lakes at Cotswold Water Park, it provided the perfect setting for guests to enjoy the sunset before the fantastic three-course meal was served.

Charity ambassador Alan Dedicoat, the voice of the National Lottery draw and Strictly Come Dancing, was the ideal master of ceremonies once more.

Funds were boosted by a live auction, conducted by Paul Martin, a Wiltshire Air Ambulance ambassador and star of BBC’s Flog It!

With a game of heads and tails, an online auction and a raffle on the night, the funds soon started to add up.

Guests also listened to Gary and Jack Williamson tell their story of the latter’s involvement in a road traffic collision in 2010. Jack was airfifted to Frenchay Hospital by Wiltshire Air Ambulance after the car he was travelling in left the road and crashed into a tree.

"We’re so grateful to everyone who came along to our Charity Ball and helped generate record-breaking funds.

In one night enough money was raised to undertake eight potentially lifesaving missions across Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas.

We’d also like to thank our headline sponsor, Safewell Ltd, and Westek Technology for their support. We can’t wait for the next one now!"
