Our airbase
We moved into our purpose-built airbase in May 2018 at Outmarsh in Semington village, near Trowbridge.
For the first time in the charity's history, our aircrew and charity team are all housed under the same roof. This makes running our lifesaving service more cost-effective in the long-term.
Speed is our superpower
Based in central Wiltshire, the helicopter is able to fly to anywhere in the county in 11 minutes, or to the centre of Bath in just four minutes.
We regularly welcome former patients to the airbase to re-engage with our crews where possible.
Additionally, community groups and businesses who have fundraised for us will visit for a special cheque presentation next to our helicopter, operations dependent.
Did you know?
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity is the only air ambulance resource of the 21 across the UK to use a Bell 429 helicopter.
