All about the governance and finance of our charity. It is vitally important to us that we are accountable to our staff, volunteers, supporters, donors, suppliers and those who we fly to.
About our charity
We’re here when you need us most. But in the nicest possible way, we hope you won’t.
We provide vital critical medical care by land and air, across Wiltshire and Bath.
In effect, we give the same level of critical care as a hospital but bring the expert team and specialist equipment to the people in need. And we do it as fast as humanly possible.
Expert critical care
Our aim is to give people the very best chance of survival, and that’s why our medical expertise and kit is of the highest standard.
Our paramedics and doctors are highly trained in critical care and supported by specialist medical equipment, enabling them to provide leading edge care in extreme, often life-threatening situations.
Ready to respond
On call all year round for up to 19 hours, on average they respond to four incidents daily, attending by helicopter and critical care car.
But this vital work wouldn't happen without your help. As a registered charity, we don’t receive government funding, relying entirely on voluntary donations and support from our local Wiltshire and Bath communities.
Your donations save lives.
Speed is our superpower.
From our airbase in Semington, the helicopter can reach anywhere in Wiltshire within 11 minutes and be in the centre of Bath in just four minutes.
There when you need us most
"You’re naïve; you never think you’ll need the service and then suddenly something happens."

If you or someone you know has been treated by our critical care team, it would be great to hear from you. We can arrange for a visit to the airbase for the chance to meet our pilots, paramedics and doctors.
