Deputy chief executive Barbara Gray

Barbara Gray

Deputy Chief Executive

Barbara joined the charity in 2016.

She is responsible for the development and delivery of the charity's agreed strategic and Income Generation plans. This involves working with the Deputy Director of Income Generation to create and implement all plans to meet and exceed the charity’s fundraising targets, with that work supported by the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure we reach as many people and businesses across Wiltshire and Bath as possible.

Barbara is also responsible for identifying and assessing strategic risks, issues and opportunities, which involves working collaboratively across the organisation to ensure delivery of our lifesaving service. She mentors her line reports, initiating and leading associated changes.

Barbara’s role also includes stepping in for CEO David as required, including at national meetings.

Before joining Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity, Barbara spent eighteen years with Wiltshire Council as Senior Marketing and Events Manager.

Have you been treated by us?

If you or someone you know has been treated by our critical care team, it would be great to hear from you. We can arrange for a visit to the airbase for the chance to meet our pilots, paramedics and doctors.
