Danielle Friend
Director of Finance and InfrastructureDanielle joined Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity in June 2013 and works as part of the executive management team.
She doesn't just work with numbers, her job is to make finance accessible by producing an interpretation which is easy to understand but still impactful. She also leads a team in finance, infrastructure maintenance and health and safety. She also works across the team on projects such as IT as well as the charity’s sustainability agenda.
Danielle started her career as a trainee accountant in 1999 in an accountancy practice and then went up to London to join an audit firm where she stayed for nearly three years and studied ACA (ICAEW). She left there to become an FD for an export company where she then stayed for 10 years until she was asked to come and help a charity for a couple of weeks… which she did….and just didn’t leave!
Did you know?
It costs £4.5 million a year to keep the air ambulance flying. But we can’t do any of this vital work without your help. As a registered charity, we don’t receive government funding, relying entirely on voluntary donations and support from our local Wiltshire and Bath communities.
